Course Overview

This workshop is designed for organisations who are passionate about CSR, and more importantly, the Social Impact of their CSR spend. With a focus on Social Return on Investment (SROI) measures as well as industry-standard Monitoring & Evaluation tools and processes, this workshop introduces the key ingredients to successful and impactful CSR that really makes social impact.

Ad hoc initiatives tied to annual reporting cycles rather than social impact
Lack of sustainability and behavioural change
Lack of cohesion across industries leading to a lack of collective action, and therefore collective impact

Using simple logic models and theories of change to ensure impact and outcome measures are being measured
Effectively planning for social change using SROI measures
Embedding sustainability best practices, and behavioural insights into initiative design to maximise behavioural change
Thinking beyond the Annual Sustainability report through partnerships for collective action

Meet your trainer

Gary Husler

Gary is a learning and development specialist, with a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) from Northumbria University. He has lived and worked in Malaysia for the last 12 years, holding senior management roles in a range of higher education and training providers. Gary has extensive experience training teachers, government officers and corporate employees across Malaysia. He has a passion for Corporate Social Responsibility, collective action, impact measurement and is skilled at applying behavioural science to complex learning challenges.

Gary joined LeapEd in January 2018 as a Programme Design and Development Specialist, and is currently the Head of LeapEd Academy. Gary is certified in Human Capital Planning and Investment, Professional Digital Marketing, and is working towards the International Coaching Federation’s ACC certification.
