If you children are bored, and looking for some active fun – why not set them a scavenger hunt?

Keep them busy by looking for things around the house.

You can even link it to a science curriculum by asking them to find things by the properties – for example, something metallic, something transparent etc etc. Or link it to Maths by including some counting in the task.

Indoor Scavenger Hunt

Make a list of things around the house that you would like the children to hunt for.
Example: something soft, something with spots, something round, etc) OR riddles: I have 4 legs but I don’t have feet, I come in handy when it's time to eat. Find me!
Allocate a specific amount of time and outline some rules.
Example: You have 20 minutes and no talking to each other or specify which room they are allowed to search.
Finally, you are ready to get the ball rolling. Have fun!
