Video Messaging for Difficult Messages
Even the most well crafted written message lack a personal touch, and the phrasing of key messages can be misunderstood.
When delivering difficult messages to parents, consider recording a video message so that the human connection is evident.
This will not eliminate the stress on parents, but can help them be more empathetic for the schools situation.
This will also be true as we get further advice around the MCO.
A school leader’s personal message may provide some reassurance to those in stressful situations.
