Parents sometimes worry about limiting children's screen time, and whilst some have relaxed their limitations, we can take opportunities to reduce it wherever possible.
It is currently less possible to monitor what children are doing online, while parents juggle home and work life.
A possible solution is asking children to review or talk about the things they have seen or read at the end of the day.
Movie Review
Ask them to answer the following questions at the end:
- What was the movie about?
- How predictable/ unpredictable was the plot?
- Were there any characters that you liked or disliked? Why?
- Which were your favourite scenes? Why?
- What was the theme/ main message?
- If you could rewrite the ending, what would you change?
